Did you know there are multiple shortcuts and ways to perform different tasks in ResourceOne?

R1 v3.0 Search Features
This month we are going to show you all of the different shortcuts to search for contacts and related activities inside ResourceOne.  In the new 3.0 version, we now have greater flexibility to enter search criteria and make changes inside ResourceOne without having to back through pages to find what you need to change.  The new search feature is now on the main toolbar for easy access from any page, and you can search by contacts, accounts, support cases, helpdesk tickets and much more.  In addition, there are icons embedded into the application that will allow you to make quick changes if you have the appropriate permissions.


Contact Search

The new 3.0 contact search feature allows you to select how you would like to search for contacts in ResourceOne.  The default options are: by name (first and last), by company, any name (retail or commercial), by account number, or by case number.  Once you select the type of search you would like, ResourceOne will remember it the next time you log in to search.

For more advanced searches, hover over the advanced search button and then select the type of advanced search you would like to perform.  Additional search criteria can be entered to help filter your search.

Additional types of searches can be created to search by additional fields.  Any requests outside of the default list will be considered custom and will need to be submitted through support@coretrac.com.

Shortcut Icons
Shortcut icons have been strategically placed throughout the application so that a user does not have to leave a page to either view or change particular items in ResourceOne.  The ability to change or edit these items will be based on the users permissions.

 

My User Settings iconUsers Setting Icon
"My User Settings" is displayed at the top of the main dashboard toolbar.  This icon will open your user record for easy access.  From this page you can edit your user information, change your password (does not include single sign-on), view your Helpdesk tickets, notes, and your attachments.

Contact icons will open a contact record in a separate window so that you can view or edit the contact directly from ResourceOne activities without having to go back to search for the contact.

Keys to Success

Make ResourceOne Yours!

Many of our clients have seen great success with rollouts or re-energizing kickoffs by creating ways to excite their users.  Be creative with how you present R1 and explain the benefits of using R1 for both the individual users and the Institution.

Also, have you or any of your employees ever said, “what if R1 could do this?”  Do you have a good idea on how to improve ResourceOne to better fit your needs and your Financial Institution?  Is there something that can be done to help attract or excite your users during rollout or to re-energize users?

Are You "Willing" to Foster a Sales Culture?

The first step to creating a sales culture is easy: The Chief Executive Officer must communicate in both words and actions that the company needs to be, and is going to be, “sales-oriented.”  A clear message from the top is very powerful, but executives should not underestimate the sheer amount work and energy that needs to go on to support a sales culture.  Not every employee will have the skill or will want to make the change.   Of course the switch to a sales culture will not happen overnight, but you must be “willing” to do certain things to ensure success.  This checklist can help you determine how ready, willing, and able you are to initiate and maintain an incentive pay plan that is key to developing a successful sales culture.

  1. Are you willing to pay top performers 10 to 30 percent more than others?
  2. Are you willing to provide recognition as well as money?
  3. Are you willing to pay incentives biweekly or monthly?
  4. Are you willing to let supervisors or workers provide input into their incentive plans?
  5. Are you willing to put managers and supervisors on incentives first?
  6. Are you willing to train supervisors in the new management skills they will need?
  7. Are you willing to commit to a long-term funding strategy?
  8. Are you willing to turn future merit increases into incentive opportunity?
  9. Are you willing to audit the system?
  10. Are you willing to face the new issues that will arise?
