Creating an Opportunity

The opportunities pane provides a snapshot of your performance, pipelines, production, referrals, opportunity queues and lost activities. There are several ways to add an opportunity:

1. From the Dashboard toolbar

From the dashboard toolbar, click on the Add New Opportunity Icon. This is usually the quickest way.

*Note: Click on the image above to view in new window.

2. From your Managed Contact List

If you have already worked with the contact previously, you most likely have their contact record in your Managed Contacts lists.

Go to Home> Managed Contacts. Search for their name by using the letter links at the top of the page. Select the checkbox next to the contacts name. Click on the new opportunity icon at the top of the page.

3. Directly from Contact Record

If you don't already have the contact record open, use the contact search field at the top of the main window to search for your contact. Once you find the contact record, double click to open it and go to the Relationship tab. From the Relationship>Summary page, you can select the new opportunity icon. Or from the Relationship>Pipelines page, you can click the new opportunity button.

2011 Users Conference Update

The 2011 CoreTrac Users Conference in May was our biggest turnout yet! Thirty-five attendees from 23 institutions gathered in Austin, Texas for a better understanding of ResourceOne's feature functionality.

Jennifer Linton of Texas First Bank kicked things off demonstrating how Texas First Bank utilizes ResourceOne to meet their strategic sales culture goals. Kevin McKee of RewardsNOW gave us insight on building out an enterprise loyalty strategy. Honey Shelton of InterAction Training Systems told us how to excel with a sales culture by boosting referrals and effective cross selling. Rich Longo of VSoft Corporation discussed different approaches to relieving the pressure of additional regulatory costs and how to be ahead of the curve.

The client appreciation party was a great opportunity for attendees to network with one another, swap information they learned during the day, share ideas they can take back to their institution and simply discuss any topic in a relaxed environment.  The breakout sessions provided a keen perspective on the feature functionality available to CoreTrac's ResourceOne users. A special thanks to our speakers and sponsors for making this the best users conference to date!

The Advantage of R1 Pipeline Visibility

With ResourceOne, you have the foundation of visibility and real-time pipeline data to be more proactive with your planning, and merging analytics with action. You can determine appropriate actions—such as assigning a new representative, dropping an opportunity, or contacting decision makers directly to better understand their needs.  You can take actions when necessary to ensure a more consistent distribution of opportunities across sales stages. It also gives you the information needed to refine your approach to pipeline management to ensure your sales resources are spent wisely.

Use the greater visibility into sales pipelines that ResourceOne provides to take the right actions to resolve anticipated issues. Use this information to ensure your sales force is properly aligned across territories, and that collaboration with marketing is enabling the identification of clients and prospects with the highest propensity to buy.  These actions will keep all stakeholders fully informed and ensure targets are met.

With ResourceOne, your financial institution has the ability to enhance pipeline performance with a variety of processes.  For example, call center agents can be equipped with information that helps them communicate with clients in support of sales objectives, and marketing can execute campaigns that use opportunity data for targeting the right prospects with offers that further the sales team’s goals. You also can link pipeline performance to a broader set of processes, including establishing sales forecasts, executing trade promotions, and developing strategic plans. By continuously innovating the end-to-end processes, you can enhance the sales pipeline performance to achieve a sustainable advantage in the markets and communities you serve.
